Ethical Standards Training Program

As an industry innovation enabler, a trusted partner and a contributor to the global healthcare industry, WuXi AppTec strives to maintain a strong compliance system and drive our business growth in an ethical and responsible way. As a participant of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), we are committed to ensuring that WuXi AppTec's business practices align with the Ten Principles of the UNGC. Based on this commitment, the ESG Committee authorized by the company's Board of Directors has established and regularly reviewed the Code of Business Conduct and Supplier Code of Conduct ensure that these guidelines effectively guide the company's operations and promote integrity, fairness, and transparency in business practices. Additionally, these guidelines provide requirements and guiding principles regarding business ethics for all full-time employees, part-time employees, contractors, temporary workers, members of our Board of Directors of the Company (unless otherwise indicated, are together referred to hereafter as "personnel") as well as suppliers in their daily work.

To ensure that all relevant stakeholders are aware of and comply with the ethical standards, our training programs are translated into local languages and designing to be role-specific to help personnel best understand our business ethics requirements. The WuXi AppTec Ethical Standards Training Program has been conducted continuously for four years and has been successfully completed in 2024. We regularly provide business ethics training for all personnel and key suppliers, and we also offer specialized trainings for employees in high-risk positions such as procurement, law, marketing, and auditing. Besides, we also develop business ethics training related to their service roles for all contractors, including but not limited to admin service, security, IT support staff, to ensure that they meet our business ethics standards while serving within WuXi AppTec. To ensure the effectiveness of the training, we require all targeted personnel to learn and sign the Code of Business Conduct and pass the compliance examination.

We will continuously increase great efforts to build employees' engagement in business ethics through management approaches and initiatives, creating and maintaining an integrity and transparent working environment to guarantee the stakeholders' interests.
